Thomas, a federal corrections officer, had heard the numbers before, but this time, they really got to him, and he felt compelled to do something for America's bravest.

"I just want them to know that I care and I'm trying to make a difference," Thomas says.

So, he decided to design and sell men's and women's t-shirts to raise money for a charity that helps the families of fallen soldiers. The name of his new line, Get Sum Clothing, serves as a rallying cry of support.

Thomas says he and his coworkers yell the phrase "Get sum" during training. He and his former Army buddies also used the phrase back in the early 90's when he was stationed in Germany. Visit the site and GetSum

Welcome to the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that was founded in October 2003 as a means of providing College Grants and Financial Assistance to surviving children and spouses of our U.S. military service members who have lost their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Our financial assistance program assists disabled service member families as well.  Our donations come from families, individuals, and businesses throughout the World. Those that raise funds on their own may chose to help families within their State.

Our Grant Committee has awarded $84,500.00 in College Grants to three children and six spouses who have lost a parent or spouse during their service in the Iraq or Afghanistan wars , $79,558.00 in financial assistance to surviving families with a combined total of eighteen children under the age of 18 and have provided assistance to our wounded military families in the amount of $91,047.81 since receiving our first applications in 2005. Please help us in spreading the word of our mission so that those in need can secure the help they so greatly need.

If you or someone you know are in need of assistance, please go to our grants section for further information or to obtain an application.

We encourage those in need to apply for assistance that has been so graciously offered by those that hold the highest respect for our military and their families and wish to honor all the sacrifices made on their behalf.

“Only two people have ever offered to die for you. One was Jesus Christ and the other is the American GI. One died for your soul, the other died for your freedom."

Please remember our troops and their families need our help and support. Thank every person in uniform that you come across for their service to our country and their guarantee that our families and theirs can continue to live their lives in Freedom. God Bless Our Troops!

SUPPORT JONI MOORE AT THE FORD IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ON 10/11/08-Ironman World Championship in Hawaii Distance:2.4 mi. swim • 112 mi. bike • 26.2 mi. run
If you are a triathlete, there is no bigger day in this sport than the Ford Ironman World Championship. It is the race that defined our sport as it came of age, and continues to be the defining race in our sport for any avid triathlete. To get to the starting line in Kona, you must either be very lucky and get yourself a spot through the lottery, or very talented, and win yourself a qualifying spot at one of the qualifying events held around the world. Tens-of-thousands of triathletes try to get one of those coveted Ironman spots every year. Only 1,700 succeeded. That means 1,800 "lucky" people get to test themselves on one of the biggest challenges the sports world has to offer ... 2.4-miles of swimming, 112-miles of biking, and a 26.2-mile marathon run through tough ocean waves, and challenging lava-covered terrain. While there are thousands of triathlons around the world, it is this one that truly defines the sport. It all began at an Awards Ceremony for a relay running race in Honolulu in 1977. A group of local athletes discussed the idea of an endurance triathlon and combining three major events that already existed on the island. John Collins suggested combining them and making it a single-day event. Later that evening, Collins took the stage announcing the event and that "whoever finishes first, we will call him the IRONMAN." It has since become triathlon's Super Bowl, Wimbledon, World Series, World Cup, and Tour de France all rolled into one. What makes this event so unique is that "average" people get to compete alongside the best in the world.

Here's a simple challenge.... browse the site, and then their store, and see how the images and messages raise your spirit. Then think of someone you care about and how much you would enjoy raising them up in the same way. For the price of a few combo meals at the burger joint you can do so much for yourself or a loved one. How's that for perspective? When you make a purchase from Gods Inspirational World you also have the opportunity to help orphans and widows as 20% of your purchase will help the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, Inc.
